Magnificent Mile Lights Festival & Parade

For over 40 years, North Michigan Avenue outlets illuminate their storefronts and trees to signify the beginning of the holiday season. Join Mickey Mouse and his friends this Saturday as they lead a procession down Michigan Avenue while "lighting" 200 trees with over one million lights from Oak Street to Wacker Drive. The Chicago event will end with a spectacular fireworks display over the Chicago River.

A Christmas Carol


The nation's favorite holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol will be playing at the Goodman Theater. Be sure to buy your tickets ahead of time for this traditional holiday performance!

Chicago Toy & Game Fair

Come out to play at America's largest public toy and gaming event. ChiTAG offers toy and game enthusiasts to preview the hottest new toys of the season. Get the opportunity to meet the inventors and test out some of the most innovative toys ever made at Navy Pier on Saturday, November 21.

McCormick Tribune Ice Rink

McCormick Tribune Ice Rink. located in Millennium Park. will open the ice Wednesday, November 18. This rink, now coming up on its ninth season, draws in more than 100,000 skaters annually.
