Last week I blogged about the Schlitterbahn water park attraction in San Antonio. Since we're entering the final haze of summer (and because temperatures have been reaching the 100 degree mark here around Cvent headquarters), it seems appropriate to share some of the other venues in which you and your event attendees can easily cool off.
Cedar Point's Soak City
Located adjacent to the famed Cedar Point amusement park, the 18-acre Soak City features over a dozen rides and slides, two lazy rivers and a massive 500,000-gallon wave pool. Shaded lounge areas, semi-private cabanas, a food court, showers, and changing areas are on the grounds to keep guests comfortable out of the water.
Cedar Point is available for events and offers catered meal options. Groups of 15 or more people can take advantage of discounted pricing.
Wisconsin Dells is the self-proclaimed Water Park Capital of the World with over 20 indoor and outdoor parks dotting its landscape. Standing out in such a crowd is tough, but Noah's Ark certainly does thanks to its Black Anaconda, the country's longest watercoaster, Time Warp, the world's largest bowl ride, and the only 4D Dive-In theater in the world. With 49 water slides, two wave pools, two endless river, three large group tube rides, and more, Noah's Ark has also been featured as one of the Travel Channel's best water parks in America for over five years.
Noah's Ark has over 12 private picnic pavilions for groups of 50 or more people. Groups can bring their own food or opt for the park's catering service. Discounted admission rates are also available.
Six Flags White Water Atlanta
With 50 attractions catering to thrill seekers and families alike, Six Flags White Water in Atlanta is the largest water park in the South and a Travel Channel Top 10 Water Park. Visitors can hop rush down the Dragon Tail's 250-foot triple drop or just splash around in the family-friendly Activity Pool.
With special group rates, Six Flags offers Atlanta event guests a chance to bond and share laughs on its thrilling rides. Private picnic areas, which include podiums and sound equipment, are available for catered meals.
