Roasted peanuts, freshly-cut turf, roaring crowds—yes, it's baseball season once again! The city of Reno has a special reason to celebrate this year, as its new Triple-A baseball stadium will host its opening night in less than two weeks on April 17. Having broke ground in February 2008, the $40 million ballpark will serve as home for the Reno Aces, the Arizona Diamondbacks top affiliate.
With 6,400 seats, luxury suites for up to 20 people, three dugout suites for up to 45 people, indoor/outdoor Hall of Fame club suites for up to 150 people, and various party decks, the Reno Aces ballpark is sure to become a top venue for Reno meetings and events. In fact, ballpark officials plan on making it so.
"We'll definitely reach out to the hotels and casinos and the convention bureau," Reno Aces Director of Ticketing Brian Moss told MeetingNews in February. "This is definitely a state-of-the-art venue that's not just for baseball."
Ticket prices range from $6 to $29 with special rates for groups of 20 or more people. All-inclusive packages can be arranged.
