Many event planners pride themselves on their online registration capabilities. After all, what could be better than an instant sign-up option for attendees? But, despite their best intentions, things can go wrong. Does your online registration suffer from these common blunders?

• Compatibility issues. Not every registrant is using the newest version of Internet Explorer as an Internet browser. Be sure that your online registration system is friendly for all browsers (including Firefox and Google Chrome).

• Inflexibility. Registrants change their minds -- all the time.
