Two major events within the next month will give event and meeting industry professionals an opportunity to learn more about the event, MICE and business travel sectors in Asia.
On September 24, 2014, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and the Japan Tourism Agency (JTA) will kick off Japan Travel Week, a 7-day series of events. It has been dubbed "World's Largest International Tourism Event."
The following events co-located at Tokyo Big Sight will take place:
- VISIT JAPAN MICE Mart, Japan's only trade show focusing on the MICE market
- VISIT JAPAN Travel Mart 2014, a show for the travel and tourism industry
- JATA Tourism EXPO Japan 2014, open to the business sector for 2 days and the public for 2 days
Japan Night, the welcome reception featuring dance, court music, and martial arts demos, will take place on September 25 at Tokyo National Museum.
For VISIT JAPAN MICE Mart and VISIT JAPAN Travel Mart, 350 buyers from overseas will join local industry professionals to connect with 400 exhibitors. A 4-day fam trip will take place after the 3 days of exhibits.
At JATA Tourism EXPO Japan 2014, 150,000 local attendees from the general pubic will be joined by event and hospitality industry professionals from 150 countries. During this expo, an International Tourism Forum will provide updates with the latest information about Japanese tourism. An awards ceremony will recognize the contributions of organizations and individuals to the industry.
From October 29 - 31, 2014, the 7th annual ITB Asia, jointly organized by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and supported by the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau, will take place at Singapore's Marina Bay complex.
ITB Asia is an opportunity for international and local buyers to connect with the corporate travel, MICE and leisure market exhibitors from all over the world. There will be networking events, workshops, and seminars.
