The Cvent Corporate Meetings Summit and the Cvent Association Meetings Summit, which are taking place this week at Sands Expo at The Venetian | The Palazzo hotel complex in Las Vegas, are effectively role-modeling how can transform client meetings with interactive content, opportunities to maximize participant engagement and vibrant celebrations to let clients know they are valued.

Before the official opening of the summits, participants took full advantage of opportunities to gather informally in the Innovation Pavilion and the Re-charge Lounge, a relaxing space for thinking, peer-to-peer networking, refreshments, and even massages. Attendees could sign up for site inspections that departed from the Re-charge Lounge.

Cvent Account Managers met with clients informally or through scheduled one-on-one and small group appointments.

In the Innovation Pavilion, through informal Ask the Experts sessions at the Cvent Experts Library, clients had informal chats with product specialists who provided immediate answers to questions.

The Demo Bar provided informal demonstrations of Cvent products in another informal approach through which clients could get live demonstrations in response to questions.

A range of 15-minute technology presentations in the Mini-Theater included PSAV Inspiration and the Cvent Budget Module.

Interactive Training Sessions

Attendees could sign up for a variety of 30-minute, hands-on interactive training sessions that took place throughout the morning. Attendees were invited to bring their laptops, tablets, or smartphones so that they could participate actively in the sessions. Topics included Sourcing the Supplier Network and Cvent Onsite Check-in Functionality.

In addition to this content delivered in easy-to-digest, bite-sized formats, after lunch, optional 1-hour workshops were available. Topics included Mobile Apps: The New Event Essential and Learning Through Feedback – Creating a Virtuous Cycle of Event Session Relevance.

All of these interactive sessions and opportunities for client engagement took place before the welcome remarks and opening keynote that typically kick off client events.
