Las Vegas is definitely a great place to take corporate groups when you want to amp up the "fun factor" for corporate events, incentives and executive retreats. For 2013/2014, a number of new and renovated attractions are on the horizon.
High Roller Observation Ferris Wheel
This 550-foot-high and 520-foot-wide observation Ferris wheel is bigger than the London Eye. Each of the 28 glass-enclosed pods will accommodate 40 guests for receptions that deliver a spectacular view of the strip.
The total rotation will be 30 minutes. High Roller will be located near the Palazzo and it is scheduled to open in late 2013.
The Linq Party District
High Roller will be in the heart the center of the Linq Party district. Caesars Entertainment Group is investing $550 million to create an open-air pedestrian-friendly district for events, shopping, dining and gambling.
Located on 3rd Street, between Stewart and Ogden, Downtown3rd is being transformed into an entertainment district with museums, parks, event venues, bars, lounges, and a farmer's market. Corporate groups will be able to buy out the areas for block parties. The Downtown Grand, formerly known as Lady Lucky, is undergoing a $100-million transformation and it is slated to be re-opened in mid-November, 2013.
Guests will be able to soar out one of the largest slot machines in the world and over the crowd for 4 blocks on of SlotZilla, one of the longest ziplines in the U.S.
Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil
A cast of 63 that includes dancers, acrobats and aerial performers, celebrates the music of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. This fully immersive musical experience is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Through Cirque du Soleil Events groups, can organize a thrilling evening around the performance.
