Dubai-based Jumeirah Group is best known for the Burj Al Arab, with its reputation of the world's most luxurious hotel. I had the pleasure of touring this iconic property a few months ago. I can understand why it is able to garner a premium price. In an upcoming blog, I will take you on a virtual tour.
I have also toured and organized corporate events at Madinat Jumeirah, the other Jumeirah Group show stopper pictured above. The ruler of Dubai has a home there so you can be sure that it represents the pinnacle of excellence in terms of decor and service. Building on its success, Jumeirah Group has been adding 5 star hotels and luxury resorts to its collection.
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai
I stayed here in the spring and I assure you that one visit to Jumeirah Zabeel Saray will convince you that there should be a photo of this luxury resort beside the word "stunning" in the dictionary. Corporate event planners will definitely find that Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a "Turkish delight."
Crystal chandeliers, marble, mirrors, and beams of light reflecting on shimmering pools, create a mesmerizing effect.
The property has a number of event venues including 5 meeting rooms (Diamond, Turquoise, Opal, Lapis Lazuli, and Sapphire) and the 680 seat Mehteran Theatre and Show Centre.
The Talise Ottoman Spa is the perfect setting in which guests can unwind after business meetings or at the end of the day during conferences.
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray's 405 guest rooms and suites are located in a beach setting on Dubai's exclusive Palm Jumeirah. Inspired by a Turkish hotel that is a favorite of Dubai's Crown Prince, it also has 38 opulent, lagoon residences designed for guests who are members of Middle Eastern royal families. If your company has had a banner year, consider treating your team to a stay in one of these residences as an unforgettable option for incentive travel.
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray's restaurants and bars include Al Nafoorah, specializing in Lebanese cuisine and Lalezar, the hotel's signature Turkish restaurant. In the Spring, I dined on the veranda overlooking the lagoon pool and beach at Amala. From scrumptious north Indian, gourmet cuisine to splendid decor, dining at Amala is an experience to remember.
Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi
With its beachfront location across from Emirates Palace, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers opened just 2 weeks ago. It's Jumeirah's first Abu Dhabi property. With it's dramatic structural design, Etihad Towers is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. This landmark hotel with 382 rooms and suites and 199 serviced residences is part of a sparkling, new 5 tower complex.
Meeting planners can choose from a variety of special event and meeting venues including the 20,419-square-foot Mezzoon Ballroom (with a capacity of 1,000 for dining and 1,400 for conferences), 13 meeting rooms and spacious, seaview pre-function areas.
