Ithaa Restaurant (Maldives)

Ithaa Restaurant at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, the world's first underwater restaurant, is located 16 feet below sea level.

Ithaa Undersea RestaurantWhat is unique about this venue is the 180 degree views of undersea life and coral gardens that are visible through the acrylic dome that encases Ithaa. The venue with a capacity of 14, can be privatized for corporate events.

The 6-course, gourmet set menu for dinner menu has an aperitif, amuse bouche, and appetizer. Other courses have exotic names like passion and cleanse.

Entrees include Maldivian lobster carpaccio and reef fish tartare. The dessert course that is called "indulge" offers decadent delights like Valrhona chocolate vantage and white chocolate praline.

Neptune and Poseidon Signature Suites (Dubai)

Atlantis the Palm, Underwater SuitesAt Atlantis the Palm on Dubai's Jumeirah Palm Island development, there are 2 underwater Signature Suites. The floor to ceiling windows provide a spectacular view of the underwater life in the Ambassador Lagoon. Each suite has 24/7 private butler service.

Songjiang Hotel (China)

Songjiang Hotel, at Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental, is taking shape inside an abandoned, 100-meter deep Shanghai quarry. Shimao Property holdings is developing this 19-floor, 380-room hotel with 2 floors that have underwater guest rooms and restaurants.

Poseidon Undersea Resort (Fiji)

Posseidon Resort RoomWhen guests descend from the elevator at the end of the pier, they will be transported to the world's first permanent 5 Star luxury, undersea resort built in a 5,000-acre lagoon.

The suites will be covered with transparent acrylic to provide panoramic views of the underwater world. The artificial private reef for each suites will attract a variety of underwater life.
