Fashion Week, it's the time when the world's top fashion designers and emerging designers unveil their creations around the world.
For women's wear, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week takes place during 2 seasons, beginning in New York City during the second week of September for the Spring/Summer season and February for the Fall/Winter season. The New York shows are streamed live on the Internet. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week continues in Miami, Berlin, Sydney, Australia, and Istanbul.
Paris Fashion Week kicks off the men's wear shows that continue in London, Milan, and Pitti (Italy). Los Angeles, Singapore, and Vancouver have also hosted Men's Fashion Week.
For event planners, Fashion Week is an opportunity to spot emerging trends in colors, fabrics, shapes, and themes that can be incorporated into event design.
During fashion week, a host of parties and receptions take place that can provide inspiration for events.

Fashion Week is also an ideal opportunity to discover new venues and hotels. Many smaller events are held at designer showrooms and warehouses. Here are some of the places where the largest Fashion Week events take place around the globe as well as some of the official hotels.
