Now here's something really different...indoor scuba diving. It's the perfect fit whether a group is preparing for a trip to a tropical location or an event planner needs an out of the ordinary experience to give a group a sense of adventure if a foreign incentive trip is not in the budget.
There are a number of indoor facilities near or in urban centres. From short learn to dive plunges to full PADI certification, there's something for everyone from novice to experienced divers.
- Scuba New York With indoor dive centres in Brooklyn and Yonkers, Scuba New York provides a range of options in its heated salt water pools. Scuba New York regularly hosts scuba and snorkeling parties for groups.
- Swim and Scuba Long Island Swim and Scuba Long Island offers open and closed circuit diving in their heated aquatics centre. (During the summer they offer wreck diving on Long Island.)

The 2 hour Discover Scuba programme provides a guide to the rules of scuba diving, underwater hand signals and a full hour in the pool. There are open dive sessions for advanced divers. Groups can even throw scuba diving or snorkeling parties.
Your group's comfort will be ensured in the world's deepest diving pool with spring water, low in chlorine, heated to a temperature of 33°C. With ample parking and a Thai restaurant on-site, event planners can create a really memorable event.

During the summer months, groups looking to cool down can learn to dive in the indoor salt-water training pools at Al Boom Diving's dive centres at Atlantis The Palm.
