St. Moritz Gourmet Festival (Switzerland)
Since 1996, during the last week of January, this annual festival has showcased international gourmet cuisine. This year 8 international famous gourmet chefs will be the resident master chefs the dining establishments of MATHIS FOOD AFFAIRS and 10 partner hotels including Badrutt's Palace Hotel, that we have previously showcased, Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains and Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains. The program, which started yesterday and runs until Friday, will include a number of culinary events such as Corviglia Caviar & Seafood Blizzard, Chocolate Cult and Gourmet Safari. Corporate groups can also take in the St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow which takes place during the same week.
Every year from the middle of January until the end of February, over 200 Toronto dining establishments offer exclusive 3 course Prix Fixe gourmet menus that feature gourmet cuisine at special pricing that offers incredible value.
Diners can search by neighborhood, cuisine and price with prices ranging from $15 - $25 for lunch and $25 - $45 for dinner. It's a great opportunity to plan corporate events in Toronto and stretch your budget.
Beaver Creek Food & Wine Weekend (Colorado)
For next winter, FOOD & WINE magazine's annual Beaver Creek Food & Wine Weekend during the last weekend of January is an opportunity to "Eat, Drink & Ski." Some of the top U.S. culinary talent from across converges on Beaver Creek, Colorado for 4 days of sampling and tasting gourmet delicacies. Special events include a Snowshoe and Gourmet Lunch and Learns and Ski Eat Ski events. The Grand Tasting is the signature event and highlight of the weekend.
