When it comes to hotel openings, Los Angeles is not slowing down. The W Hollywood opened in February, followed by the JW Marriott at LA Live. Now, joining the JW Marriott is its sister hotel The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles opened Friday in downtown Los Angeles. Both LA hotels are part of L.A. LIVE - a vibrant selection of event venues including the STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre, Club Nokia and the GRAMMY Museum.
The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles brings 123 guest rooms, 14 suites, and 100,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space to this entertainment, sports, and residential district. Standing 54 stories tall, the hotel offers stunning views of downtown Los Angeles and Southern California. Complete with LA's only full service hotel spa themed "Champagne and Shimmer" and a 3,400-square-foot exclusive Club Lounge, this luxury tower surely brings something special to the area.
The hotel is also home to celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck's latest culinary creation, WP24, which features refined Asian fare and plentiful dining space. The restaurant is one of 13 in LA LIVE's collection. Others include ESPN Zone, Rosa Mexicano, Trader Vic's, and Yard House, many of which could be a great Los Angeles private dining facility.
