When the temperatures start to drop and the leaves start to turn, it can only mean one thing - it's time for the annual Open House New York Weekend - a celebration of our awesome architecture and divine design. The OHNY Weekend opens the doors to hundreds of sites, with talks, tours, performances and activities throughout the five boroughs. From private residences and historic landmarks, to hard hat tours and sustainable skyscrapers, OHNY gives all comers rare access into the architecture that defines our City.

If you have a meeting group coming to town in time for the festivities, encourage them to take a quick time-out to drop by one of the rarely-open-to-the-public, architecturally significant and unusual spaces on view, such as the space-age 60's style Ford Foundation on East 42nd Street; the 220 year-old Grand Lodge of the Masons; the spectacular Eagle Street Roof Top Farm overlooking the East River; the legendary Little Red Light House and 80+ more unusual locations.
Not coming to town this weekend? Then chances are, an Open House weekend may be coming to you - and can be incorporated into your group activity plan. OHNY just one of 12 official members of the Open House Worldwide network of Open House events, which also take place in Barcelona, Chicago, Dublin, Galway, Helsinki, Jerusalem, London, Melbourne, Rome, Slovenia, and Rome throughout the year. Our advice? Plan your next meeting with the Open House events in mind - they're a great way to give your guests an eye-opening, behind-the-scenes peek at some of the worlds most inspiring architectural treasures.
