The Hospitality Cloud team at Cvent is proud to announce an exciting update from our side of the house! As hoteliers and planners know, the eRFP process has removed a tremendous amount of friction from the venue sourcing and group business lifecycle, but we’re not stopping there.
In December 2014, Cvent, Inc. acquired Elite Meetings International, which expanded our eRFP channels to include EliteMeetings.com and SpeedRFP.com alongside the Cvent Supplier Network (CSN). As part of our ongoing integration between these channels, we’re spreading awareness about the upgrades taking place in the Elite Meetings and SpeedRFP accounts so you’re always up to date.
Throughout April 2016, we’ll be routing RFPs across Cvent’s channels to clients’ Cvent Supplier Network accounts, allowing for simple RFP management all in one place. After the transition, new RFPs can be managed like any other RFP you receive through the Cvent Supplier Network, taking out extra steps between you and your clients. This will prevent the need for logging in to multiple accounts and juggling disjointed information. Planners and clients can look forward to quicker, more thorough responses from venues and hoteliers, no matter which channel they choose to use.
Here’s everything you need to know about the integration:
- SpeedRFP email notifications for new RFPs will be replaced by Cvent RFP notifications. New RFPs will have SpeedRFP or Elite Meetings marked as the lead source. Note: If a property is MeetingBroker enabled, all new SpeedRFP and Elite Meetings RFPs will no longer be routed through the SpeedRFP channel. Instead, they’ll be routed through their Cvent Channel in MeetingBroker. Lead catchers and RFP notifications will continue to be managed through MeetingBroker, not through Cvent.
- CSN and SpeedRFP lead catchers will begin capturing these leads, but hoteliers can always change their preferences in Cvent.
- Profile content for SpeedRFP.com and EliteMeetings.com will continue to be managed in Hotelprofiler.com.
- Any RFPs sent through SpeedRFP prior to the integration will continue to be managed in SpeedRFP.
These improvements are just the beginning of how we’re developing a more effective and efficient tool for our customers.
