Client Success in 2018: A Year in Review

Can you believe we are already at the end of 2018? It was quite a busy year for the Client Success team here at Cvent, and we want to highlight some of our favorite milestones throughout the year!

Next-Generation User Experience: Project Flex

First, and one of the most exciting updates in Cvent history, was our next-generation user experience: Project Flex! This was the biggest project ever taken on by our Product Management team and we hope you are seeing the great benefits in the “Registration Reimagined” interface. Project Flex began well before 2018; however, we were able to showcase it at Cvent CONNECT 2018 and General Availability was officially released on October 31st, 2018. If you haven’t had the chance to explore Flex yet, it’s available in all Event Management accounts moving forward, so check it out! My personal favorite aspects of Flex are mobile responsiveness, the amazing modern themes and designs to work with, and how easy the drag & drop widget-based functionality is within the site designer. Also, did you hear Cvent CONNECT 2019  registration is open? You’ll get to see Flex first-hand if you register, as the event website was built entirely in the new interface!

Cvent CONNECT

Speaking of Cvent CONNECT, the next major highlight from 2018 was the vital role the Client Success team played in both Vegas and Europe. When our team wasn’t meeting with clients, they could be found in the Innovation Pavilion at the Ask the Experts lounge, presenting in the Feature Flash theater, or even showcasing Flex in the Product Showcase. But of course, I can’t forget that one of the biggest pieces of Cvent CONNECT this year was the first-ever, full-day immersive Training Camp. This offering was held separate from the conference so there were no competing sessions and the focus was on learning. Our team hosted various workshops ranging in products and levels, which provided attendees with the best possible experience. We heard great feedback and are eager to host it again in 2019!

Cvent Academy Workshops

If you couldn’t make Cvent CONNECT this year, you might’ve heard about some of our new, in-person trainings hosted throughout the country.  This brings me to our third milestone, which was the launch of our new Cvent Academy Workshops.  Browse our upcoming schedule for immersive and hands-on learning experience.  We will be launching new topics throughout the year.  

Incredible Company Growth

Lastly, you may have heard that Cvent has grown quite a bit. Not only has the number of employees and offices grown but so have our product offerings. In 2018, we went through several exciting acquisitions and we can’t wait to see the changes to come in 2019 and beyond. The three key acquisitions were Kapow, which allows you to instantly book events at unique venues; QuickMobile, a fantastic event app for your attendee engagement onsite; and Social Tables, an incredible solution that allows you to explore floor plans and create professional diagrams to bring your events to life.

As you can tell, 2018 was a year of growth and change and it will only continue into 2019. We’re thrilled to continue this journey with you and look forward to another wonderful year!
