If you have a lot of reggae fans in your group, here are some venues that are guaranteed to add a reggae feel to corporate events in Jamaica.
Bob Marley Museum, Kingston
Located on Hope Road in Kingston, Jamaica, Bob Marley Museum was residence of Jamaican reggae legend Bob Marley. Until it was purchased by Bob Marley in 1975, it was known as Island House and owned by Island Records mogul, Chris Blackwell. The building is an example of 19th-century architecture.
Guided tours, which last for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, include a 20 minute video about the life and legacy of Bob Marley.
On-site there is an 80-seat theater and the Legend Cafe. The theater can be used for private events and, outdoors, there is space for events with 100 - 150 guests.
Bob Marley Birthplace and Mausoleum, Nine Miles, St. Ann
In the hills of St. Ann, Jamaica, Bob Marley's place of birth and his final resting place are on the same property in the tiny village of Nine Miles. Reggae lovers will welcome the opportunity to tour the home where Bob was born and where he lived as a young boy.
Outdoor events for groups of up to 300 can be accommodated.
Tuff Gong International Recording Studios, Kingston
Tuff Gong International is the record label started by Bob Marley in 1965. This state-of-the-art recording studio, which used to be located at the site of the Bob Marley Museum, was moved to its current location by his wife Rita Marley after Bob Marley passed away.
There are 2 outdoor venues, one has space for 500 guests, and the other can accommodate up to 1,000. The indoor venue has space for 100 for receptions and 75 for seated events.
