The Golden Triangle is definitely an area that Malaysians describe as "happening". For corporate event planners and meeting planners, it's a golden find. The borders of the busiest entertainment, shopping, dining, and business district in Kuala Lumpur are west of Jalan Imbi, north of Jalan Pudu, and south of Jalan Ampang. The Golden Triangle is a great right backdrop for event planners to create blockbuster events. You'll find 5 Star hotels, unique event venues, upscale plazas, heritage building, and gleaming sky scrapers. Bukit Bintang, Malaysia's equivalent of New York's Fifth Avenue and Paris' Champs-Elysees, will provide conference and meeting attendees with much to explore during downtime.

- the indoor theme park at Berjaya Times Square

- Heritage Centre, a traditional Kedah State Malaysian house that was re-located and restored. It includes the original carvings, furniture and artifacts.
Of special interest to conference event planners will be Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) the location of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the Petronas Twin Towers, and KLCC Park.
Other special event venues in the Golden Triangle include Kuala Lumpur Tower, the Hard Rock Cafe, the Beach Club Cafe, a tropical themed nightclub, and Restoran Seri Melayu, patterned after a traditional Malaysian home, is a dining establishment with a colorful evening cultural show. Pavilion Event Dome, the world's first 360° projection event venue, creates virtual environments to fit any theme.
At the end of day, participants in business meetings and conferences will welcome time to shop and relax. For designer fashions and upscale merchandise, they can head over to Pavilion KL, Suria KLCC or Starhill Gallery. For affordable brand names, Sungei Wang Plaza, Lot 10, and Fahrenheit 88 are close at hand.
