Throughout November, 21 wineries take part in Taste the Season, a series of wine tastings and gourmet events that provide opportunities to discover new food and beverage options for Christmas.

In December, wineries offer farm to table brunches and Christmas lounges with award-winning wines and seasonal fare.

During the first weekend of December for Victorian Christmas in Niagara-on-the-Lake,there are tours of 6 historical homes, professionally decorated for the season. The Candlelight Stroll is a guided exploration of the heritage district accompanied by choirs.

During the second weekend of December, the Santa Clause Parade takes place on the main street. Fort George Garrison comes alive with games, crafts and other activities that the whole family can enjoy. Festive treats and drinks are served.

The Sounds of Christmas, a concert series featuring seasonal favorites, takes place at Simcoe Park every Sunday afternoon in December. Visitors are invited to bring their own chairs and beverages to the free performances that include duos, quartets, choirs, and brass bands.

On the second Saturday of December, music Niagara's Concert of Peace and Joy at St. Mark's Church features a repertoire of Gregorian chants, Renaissance polyphonies, and Christmas carols.

Just Christmas, Niagara-on-the-Lake, OntarioJust Christmas, an all year Christmas store, is the perfect place to pick up Christmas event decorations.

A number of venues offer seasonal rates. For example, Oban Inn offers special Wine Country Getaways. This December, in honor of its 150 year anniversary, Prince of Wales is offering a competitive weekday rate of $150 per night double occupancy including a gourmet dinner for two. With extensive meeting and conference facilities, Niagara-on-the-Lake is an excellent choice of meetings and corporate events during the festive season.
