Turns out that event planners have one of the most stressful jobs in America. With our crazy schedules and never-ending to-do lists, sometimes we feel like we just can't go on anymore. The only thing that can improve things is a vacation on the South of France. But… back to the top. What could you do to make yourself feel better right now?
Download your big great brain. Are you keeping too much stuff in your head? Experts suggest writing down everything you're trying to remember, including ideas and to-do lists. It frees up space and makes you feel less stressed. Now that it's all on a piece of paper, can any of it be delegated?
Give yourself a token of love. It doesn't have to be a new designer bag or lunch at an expensive restaurant. How about a 10-minute nap with your feet up on your desk? Or a super healthy smoothie? Or a new bestseller? Something that makes your body and your mind feel loved and appreciated.
Know that you matter. To your family, to your colleagues, to those who may never say thank you but are impacted by what you do in life. To all those whose lives you've enriched and who couldn't have closed deals, gotten new ideas and fed their families without your hard work. Every day. You matter.
