Mexico Meetings Network is pleased to announce an alliance with Turespacio, a strategic consulting company in the meetings space whose website was named Best Tourism Website in Mexico in 2011.
Turespacio and MMN are coordinating efforts to provide Mexican Convention & Visitor Bureaus (CVBs) and venues with training, consulting, media services and integrated online marketing packages that showcase Mexico cities and properties to highly-qualified meeting and event planners.
The alliance is being well-received by Mexico tourism executives.

They are two world-class companies made up of professional, recognized and committed leaders within Mexico's meetings industry; I am sure this alliance will increase both visibility and productivity and attract more convention business to our country," said Eduardo Chaillo, Executive Director for Meetings at the Mexican Tourism Board.
"At Grupo Turespacio we're convinced that strategic alliances are critical to successfully achieving our objectives,"said Tony Yarto, Turespacio's General Manager. The Turespacio Group has an online Spanish-language television channel Andadura TV, and a corresponding radio station, Andadura Radio.
The economic impact of Mexico's meetings industry was recently measured at $18.1 billion USD. The number of Mexican venues with profiles on Cvent's Supplier Network increased 40% in 2011, and RFP increased by 24.65%, due largely to grassroots education and product training efforts.
The Mexico Meetings Network-Turespacio alliance will build on this base and solidify the connection between Mexican Destinations, Venues and Hotels and international meeting planners, and showcase Mexico's extraordinary value proposition.
