Getting to Reno Tahoe by air has never been easier. In addition to a $26 million renovation in recent years, Reno-Tahoe International Airport is aggressively adding nonstop flights from destinations across the country.
Travelers can take advantage of nonstop flights from 22 destinations on eight commercial airlines. These include regional flights to and from popular West Coast cities such as San Jose, Long Beach, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more. Direct flights across the country are also available, including Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York and Atlanta.
The growing demand for these flights is reflected in the 5.2 percent increase in departures compared to August 2016, and a monthly scheduled seat capacity up 9.8 percent for the same period.
In addition to the many convenient options for flying into the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, the airport is conveniently located just minutes from downtown and the Reno Sparks Convention Center. If your trip to the region is taking you to North Lake Tahoe, a paid shuttle service is available, and all major rental car companies offer generous inventories for your convenience.
Recognized as one of the Top 5 Most Efficient Airports in North America by the Air Transportation Research Society, Reno-Tahoe International Airport will start your visit out right! And once you’re here, there is no shortage of events, restaurants, bars and breathtaking views from downtown Reno to North Lake Tahoe for you to enjoy.
